GCD Fashion Brochure

We created this brochure to help students applying to study fashion at Griffith College Dublin. The content informs students of the portfolio guidelines for the courses, the criteria for presenting their portfolios and also who to contact if they need further information. We used icons from the world of fashion throughout the brochure to create a sense of what students can expect from the course. The brochure is printed on an unsual iridescent paper stock, giving the pages an elegant reflective sheen and a novel tactile quality: hopefully very appealing to all the potential Vivienne Westwood’s and John Rocha’s preparing to learn their trade.

Design in mind

We have just completed the Design prospectus for Griffith College Dublin. Our core challenge in this project was to create a prospectus for the Design faculty that would compliment the main College prospectus (which we completed earlier this year) while being distinct in its own right. Our design combines the faculty's strong colour palette with a greater emphasis on photography. Once again crisp, clear typography emphasises strong messages in the layouts. The prospectus covers a wide variety of topics including course content and student life, as well as future career prospects for potential design students. Creative work by students is featured prominently in this design. Giving prospective students a clear idea to the type of work they can expect to produce. For example, our cover design incorporated a project by James Byrne, which won the 2004 Graduate Designer Award for Interior Architecture from the Institute of Designers in Ireland.

Griffith College Prospectus

Our new design for the Griffith College Prospectus educates and informs prospective students about the broad range of courses which the college offers. We used the title 'Lifelong Learning' to communicate the student's experience of Griffith College as not only their third-level education but also as a learning experience that will last their lifetime. Our new design reflects Griffith College's other core values: freshness, vitality and dedication in their teaching. We used strong primary colours throughout to denote the various faculties. Oversized typography and clear information layout make this document as user-friendly as possible.
