Taxi Regulation: Vehicle Standards Consultation

We have created all of the communication resources for the recent public consultation process on Vehicle Standards conducted by the Taxi Regulation Directorate of the National Transport Authority. We established a consistent visual style which we implemented online, in printed documentation and in national advertising.

We designed the primary consultation paper which presented all of the issues for consideration along with the reasoning and evidence supporting each. Our challenge was to take this technical information (some of it quite involved) and present it in the clearest manner so as to address and gain responses from the broadest possible audience (and not necessarily just technical specialists).

The primary mechanism for submitting views and suggestions was a custom-built micro-site hosted within the NTA site. We defined the information architecture for that micro-site to clarify and expedite the submission process. We designed the user interface to correspond with the visual style that we developed for the primary documentation.
