The 2011 NUI Galway Open Day campaign takes on a punchy, vibrant design approach. The Open Day takes place on the second of April, and is promoted by a range of communication items we have designed for the event.
We enhanced a selection of the special subject icons we originally designed for the university's undergraduate prospectus and we have used these as the main graphics of the Open Day campaign. This allowed us to create a unique visual style for the full communications suite. Bold typography fits with the campaign design and helps in the desired effect of attracting attention and informing prospective students about the upcoming event.

The campaign items include an event programme with a full timetable of talks for students, exhibition areas and a campus map. It also includes posters for school notice boards, national press advertising, a bookmark and temporary campus signs.
