The Aer Lingus Gold Circle Club is the frequent flyer programme which entitles members to earn and spend points on Aer Lingus flights and partner member airlines, as well as other benefits including lounge access, priority baggage and flight upgrades.
As part of our broader review of the Aer Lingus brand we redefined the relationship between the Aer Lingus masterbrand and the Gold Circle Club sub-brand. We were then asked to redesign the membership cards for the three tiers of this exclusive programme: Gold, Prestige and Elite. These cards represent the tangible expression of the new branding relationship. The brief asked for a design that is modern, refined and elegant, to reflect the brand positioning of the Aer Lingus Gold Circle Club. The concept of air travel routes and movement have been visualised for the new card designs. Each programme tier is colour-coded, the suite of cards have been enhanced with a metallic print and gold foil for an added premium finish.

The enhanced membership cards are being launched to coincide with the newly designed Aer Lingus Gold Circle Club lounges, being rolled out in early 2011.
