We have designed the latest Action Plan issued by the Commission for Taxi Regulation outlining their commitments for 2010 and 2011. We envisaged the potential audience as including engaged, compliant, professional SPSV drivers as well as a core audience of policy-makers and industry stake-holders.
This publication is a new approach to communicating the Commission's plans: being a programme listing of all of the actions they have committed to. Whereas previous plans were presented in narrative prose, this new structure is designed so as to be more transparent and accountable, and to facilitate future reporting on the outcomes of the action plan.

In comparison to recent publications that we have designed for the Commission which make strong use of photographic imagery, this is a very factual, structured communication. So we needed to apply our expertise in information design and attention to typographic detail to take the reader from the macro level (the strategic objectives) through to the micro levels (the individual actions) through a number of intermediary classifications (high-level actions and initial targets).
This publication is related to the Commission's recent five year Strategy Statement which we designed earlier in 2010.
