We worked with NUI Galway again to create their 2011 undergraduate prospectus. This year the university decided to publish both an English edition and a completely bilingual prospectus. Our creative team ensured that design and layout remained consistent across both editions while accommodating the variations in word counts between the two languages.
Both publications build on the successful ‘Real Learning’ design and structure we established last year. Each focuses on the unique university experience and high standard of teaching and education offered at NUI Galway.

This university prospectus is a critical focus for potential students when deciding on their third level education. Student testimonials, graduate profiles and further education and potential career options, are used to communicate the complete NUI Galway offering. These elements, combined with people-focused photography, give potential students an informed, realistic and engaging insight to university life at and education within NUI Galway.

We chose a vibrant teal colour from the university’s brand colour palette as the predominate colour this year. This key colour was incorporated into all of the supporting communications: press adverts, posters, presentations and additional literature, creating a unified and effective campaign.
“I worked with BFK on the design of our undergraduate prospectus 2010–2011. I found them to be a very professional company and fully committed to the project. They demonstrated a good understanding of the market and brief, which was reflected in the contemporary design proposed, clean layout of information and use of photography. We are very happy with the end result – the prospectus has received very positive feedback.”
