UCD: Brand Identity

University College Dublin have just launched their new BFK-designed brand identity, which plays a vital role in the university's ambition to become one of Europe's leading academic institutions. Our creation of a new brand mark and a comprehensive master branding system accommodates the recently revised internal structure at UCD.

The mark, with its distinctive asymmetric shape, refreshed colours and custom-drawn characters, visually strengthens many of the elements from the crest used previously, and has been designed to work more effectively as a marketing device across all media. Brand identity guidelines have been published, and the university is currently implementing the new identity into their communication materials for the 2006 academic year.
